My Commitment
I am committed to best practice in line with the Code of Practice for Approved Driving Instructors endorsed by the Driving Standards Agency. I am a LADY INSTUCTOR and a

1. DSA Grade 6 approved driving instructor (highest grade achievable, ensuring absolute excellence in tuition)
2. Member of the Driving Instructor Association
3. Member of the Lewes Coastal District Driving Instructor Association
4. A RoSPA Gold Accredited Advanced Driver and Tutor
5. Qualified Driver Trainer under Julia Malkin MBE: Autistic Spectrum, Dyspraxia, ADHD
6. "Brake" accredited road safety educator
7. East Sussex County Council approved speed awareness trainer
8. Emergency First Aider

Continuous professional development is integral to my approach to teaching. I recently qualified for my motorbike license, as well as the D1 minibus license.

CRB checks and insurance
I am DSA and East Sussex County Council CRB checked and have full liability insurance.

Progress at each lesson
I aim to ensure that the driver will make progress at each lesson. Every lesson will include a de-brief and an objective mutually agreed for the next lesson. Regular progress updates will be provided, and the participation of the driver is actively sought and encouraged. Full support during theory studies and for private practice will be given.

Safe driving for life
I am committed to life-long learning to ensure Safe Driving for Life, and will encourage all drivers to pursue options such as PASS PLUS and/or RoSPA Advanced Driver Training once they pass their driving test. For further information please refer to www.roadar.org and www.passplus.org.uk

Charity support
Cruise Control Driver Coaching actively supports the road safety charity “Brake”, details of which can be found on www.brake.org.uk. As a Brake road safety educator I offer my time free of charge to schools and clubs to run the workshop "2young2die". I also provide free advanced driver tuition to all referred RoSPA associates aiming to pass the RoSPA advanced driving test, and am the Treasurer of the local RoSPA group.
